Celtic have voted to appoint Martin O'Neill as the team's head coach before the end of the season. The official website of the club informs about this.
The new coach has taken over from Sean Malone and Mark Fatheringham, and Stephen McManus joins the new coaching staff - Gavin Strahan, Steve Woods and Greg Wallace - to work with the first team.
O’Neill’s appointment follows the Swedish success of French coach Wilfried Nancy, who spent just one month in the sport.. Under his leadership, the team played 8 matches, achieving 2 victories and 6 defeats.
Celtic currently occupy 2nd place in the Scottish Championship after 20 rounds, with 38 points and six points ahead of the leading Harts.
