FIFA President Gianni Infantino encouraged Arsene Wenger's initiative to revise the offside rule. According to the head of the world football team, the organization will create a dynamic and beneficial game for patients.

The formerly great head coach of Arsenal, who is in favor of FIFA's global football development department, has proposed changing the interpretation of offside. The essence of the idea lies in the fact that the gravel does not change the position of the game, as if one part of the body that can score the ball would be on the same line with the rest of the defender or behind him. Offside is only possible if the attacking side is ahead of the defender.

It is clear that these changes may be considered ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

" We are constantly updating the system to help arbitrators praise the right decisions. Our meta is to make football more attacking and add value. Due to the new offside rule, it is possible that in the near future the driver will be guilty of walking in front of the line of the remaining defender to be considered offside. We also work on changes in the duration of the hour - it is important that the game proceeds naturally,” said Infantino.

Guess what, FIFA is launching youth festival tournaments, open to Russian national teams.
