London's Tottenham will soon be unable to afford insurance for one of its key insurers - Javi Simons. The official terms of disqualification of the Dutch footballer became known after the incident in the match against Liverpool.
As reported by BBC Sport, Simons rejected a straight red card for a flagrant foul against Merseyside captain Virgil van Dijk.
According to the regulations, there will be an automatic disqualification for three matches.
In this way, the Tottenham coaching staff will not be able to get a sick player before the fights against Crystal Peles (28th), Brentford (1st) and Sunderland (4th).
It is unknown whether the club plans to appeal, but due to the latest information, the term of disqualification will be lost without change.
Javi Simons has played 22 matches in all competitions for Tottenham this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
