Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko can change the club already before the winter transfer window. As insider Nikola Skira reports, Fiorentina has been asking Genoa for a possible transfer of the 39-year-old forward.

According to Dzherel, the Genoa club is considering the option of signing a confirmed central striker, and Dzeko’s candidacy is one of the priorities. An important role for a potential transfer could be played by Genoa head coach Daniele De Rossi, who knows the Bosnian well from his previous stints in Roma.

Dzeko joined Fiorentini before the start of the 2025/26 season, but did not become the team’s key leader.
