The Dynamo youth team secured a ticket to the 1/16 finals of the UEFA Youth League after a dramatic draw in the match against Scottish Hibernian - 1:1. Pavel Cherednichenko's team beat Hibernian in two matches, winning 2:1.

The first match played in Kiev, ending with a minimal win over Dynamo 1:0. In Scotland, the Gospodars created more chances, but the first half did not bring any goals..

In the other half, the Scots opened a rakhunok on the 51st line:

Cllland won the fight in the wind and with a back kick from 25 meters, Hibernian forward. However, just three weeks later, Dynamo confirmed: Osypenko, from between the penalty area, accurately broke through the goalkeeper’s posture, leveling the goal.

Further attacks by Hibernian did not bring results, and the hammers began to crush no one’s shell. Thanks to Osipenka's goal, Dynamo secured its place in the offensive round.
