Croatia secured a ticket to the World Cup 2026 after defeating the Faroe Islands

The Croatian national team qualified for the 2026 World Cup by beating the Faroe Islands 3:1 against Rieci. The victory at the Rujevica Stadium ensured Zlatko Dalich's team first place in Group L one round before the selection was completed.

Despite the superiority of the rulers, the guests themselves scored first. At the 16th line, Geza David Turi passed through the center without support and broke through from the bottom - the ball ricocheted past Vushkovich, receiving it from the near corner.

Croatia swedishly got ready and equalized the rakhunok. On the 23rd line, after a jump in the penalty area, Guardiol took the ball, moved under his left foot and pushed hard at the far corner, making it 1:1.

Croatia scored 19 points and leads the Czech Republic by six points, which guarantees Dalich's team first place in the group and a direct ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
