Dynamo U-19 forward Matviy Ponomarenko scored a double in the 11th round match of the National League against Donetsk Shakhtar (2:3), and thus achieved an important record.

Ponomarenko increased the total number of goals scored in the tournament to 46 goals, including six goals for Zorya, as he played on loan in the 2022/2023 season.

Following this performance, the forward surpassed his teammate Dmitry Kremchanin and became the highest scorer in the history of the U-19 Championship / National League U-19.

This is already Matvy’s fourth season in the youth team, spanning 77 matches: 24 for Zorya and 53 for Dynamo.
