The Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation supported Real Madrid's appeal against the suspension of Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in the El Clasico match against Barcelona (2:1).

At the end of the fight, Lunin, who was on the bench of the reserves, took part in the situation with the graves of Barcelona and took away the red card. The Madrid club is trying to discredit the referee's decision, and the disciplinary committee has revoked his power by disqualifying the goalkeeper for one match.

Referee Cesar Soto Grado explained:

“On the 90th century, Gravec Andriy Lunin fought with his reserves against his opponents in an aggressive manner, which his teammates had to stream.”. The Committee acknowledged Lunin’s actions to “minor disruptions to sporting order” and confirmed the accuracy of the referee’s report.

Real can still go to the Committee for an appeal or the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) with complaints about the temporary suspension of disqualification.

This season, Lunin has not yet played a single official match for the Madrid team.
