Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has signed a new contract with the club, Sky Sports News reports. According to Dzherela, the 31-year-old goalkeeper and the Merseysiders agreed to a controversial agreement.
Pickford's deal is expected to expire until 2027, but they plan to sign a new deal before the match against Manchester City scheduled for this weekend.
The club is happy with the team’s progress and is ready to dedicate a significant part of their career to it, and perhaps lose it before its completion.
Pickford has been the Everton goalkeeper since 2017 and is the main scorer of the England team.
It was previously reported that Everton were targeting Manchester City star Kalvin Phillips.
