The 28-year-old Belgian found himself out of action on the 13th spring in the match against Everton (0:0), after which he did not appear on the field in Zhodny for the next six matches of the team. Medical treatment revealed a muscle injury that will require more urgent rehabilitation, but the kidney has recovered.
This season, Aston Villa has already faced serious personnel problems in the center of the field. Besides Tielemans, he missed the matches of Amadou Onana and Boubacar Camara due to injuries, as there were some problems with the back surface of the leg.
