The national team of Ukraine conducted the first training at the preparatory stage before the matches of qualification of the World Cup-2026 against France and Azerbaijan.

As the UAF’s official website informs, Sergei Rebrov’s wards trained in a lightweight mode, divided into several groups. Some of the players were engaged in restoration, while the other group participated in game exercises.

On Wednesday, September 3, the national team will continue to prepare in accordance with the established plan. And on Thursday, September 4, the “blue-yellow” will go to the Wroclaw, where at the Tarchinsky Arena stadium will hold traditional pre-match events. First, the team coach and one of the players will talk with reporters, and then training will take place at the stadium.

Recall that Ukraine in the qualifying tournament at the World Cup 2026 will begin on September 5 in the Polish Wroclaw with a match with France, and on September 9 in Baku will meet with Azerbaijan.

Earlier it became known about the nature of the goal of the goalkeeper Andrei Lunin, because of which he left the location of the Ukrainian national team.
