Midfielder of Polesie and the national team of Ukraine Alexander Nazarenko was injured.

The Ukrainian footballer said that he would miss a month and will not go with the national team to Canada to a friendly tournament.

" Unfortunately, I won’t go to Canada, ”Nazarenko told the official Polesie website.

In the season-2024/25, Nazarenko spent 33 matches for Polesie in all tournaments in which he scored seven goals and made nine assists.

The national team of Ukraine will play control matches with Canada and New Zealand on June 7 and 10.

It was previously reported that the Premier League Club does not want to let the player go to the Ukrainian national team.
