Ronaldo sets a new goalscoring record

Saudi Al-Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo set a world record.

The 39-year-old Portuguese scored a goal against Al-Okhdulu (3:1) in the 14th round match of the Saudi Arabian Championship, converting penalties.

With this rank, Ronaldo became the first football player in history to score 24 goals.

First, Ronaldo scored a goal on the highest level, playing for Sporting in 2002. Then he entered the gates of super teams, playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and for the Portuguese national team.

The Portuguese has 917 goals in official matches.

After 14 games, An-Nasr gained 28 points and is in third place in the championship, ahead of Al-Ittihad (36) and Al-Hilal (34), both of whom have 13 matches..
