The Czech Republic held a meeting of the UEFA Supreme Committee, which praised the low importance of decisions in European football. The UEFA press service reports this.

Just recently, UEFA praised the decision to increase the distribution of solidarity payments for clubs, rather than taking part in UEFA club tournaments, for the 2024-2027 cycle, due to the increase from 4 to 7 Hundreds of projected revenues of 4.4 billion euros. Thus, the sum fell by 308 million euros - the increase was almost 80% equal to the previous cycle.

It was confirmed that there was a division between the middle five largest associations (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France): each of them receives 10 million euros. Thus, the amount available to the 50 associations will increase from a total of 135 million euros to a total amount of 258 million euros. 70% of these sums will be distributed according to their position in the UEFA access list, while 30% will be proportionate to the sums withdrawn by the skin association, which has an innovative concept This directly affects the competitive balance of domestic leagues.

Basic principles of division:.

— money is reserved for clubs in the highest division that do not take part in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA European League and UEFA Conference League phases;

— these funds are intended to support competitive balance in the leagues of the highest division of Europe, whereby clubs benefit from additional income from participation in European businesses;

— part of the funds can be directed to clubs in another division for the benefit of clubs in the next division;

— to reduce or improve club structures and management standards, thereby consonant with the healthy development of European club football;

- regardless of the right to have these payments waived, clubs must comply with the previous UEFA club licensing criteria, and the criteria for the preparation of young people are still an initial element.

All details of the new solidarity schemes will be announced in the coming years.

UEFA also stated that the Municipality of Milan cannot guarantee that the San Siro Stadium and its surroundings will not be damaged by repair work during the 2027 UEFA Champions League Final.. As a result, it was decided not to recognize the final at Milan and to re-open the tender process to determine the preferred place. Decided to find ourselves in the herbal/cherry 2025 fate.
