The top manager of the lower Bundesliga clubs, Christopher Lenz, signed a contract with Goffenheim.

Lenz was without a contract for a long time, after which his agreement with RB Leipzig came to an end.

Goffenheim sporting director Frank Kramer explained why the club decided to ask for a head coach.

“There are a lot of hopeless matches ahead of us, and it’s also not good to forget about injuries. Such a player can definitely help our club,” the Goffenheim press service quotes Kramer.
