Zahisnik leaves Odessa.
Chornomorets defender Volodymyr Salyuk voted about the departure from the Odessa team.
“I want to express my deep gratitude for all the support I have given you throughout my entire career. On my way, I grew up at the Chornomorets Sports and Youth Sports School, then I played for the Atletik football club, after which I signed a professional contract with the Balkan football club. I was given the honor of playing for the football club Chornomorets. This club has been close to my heart since childhood, and I am grateful for the chance that would help me make progress in my career..
This time brought me into the Ukrainian youth football team, and then into the Olympic team. Now the time has come to say goodbye. I'm paying off my career's advances. Odessa will forever be lost in my heart, because this is my home, here I started my life’s journey, here I was recruited and here I became a professional football player.
These two and a half years have been incredibly important. First the COVID-19 pandemic, then a full-scale war. I want to thank the ZSU for those who give us the opportunity to live and do what we love.
I’m not saying goodbye, I’m still confident that I’ll return to Odessa a stronger and more accomplished footballer.
I also want to thank the coaching staff and all the players of the football club Chornomorets. To all those coaches and athletes who have been in my career from the very beginning, from childhood. These are the people who helped me become a professional football player and achieve success,” Salyuk wrote on Instagram.
Surely, Volodymyr’s next club will be Metalist 1925.
