In the final match of the elite round of the ChS-2024 qualification, the Ukrainian national team beat Poland with a score of 5:3.

For the students of Oleksandr Kosenko, it was a great game, where a share of a direct ticket to the World Cup was determined. “Sinyo-zhovtim” needed more victory, otherwise there would be a playoff.

Grass began to settle down calmly, but the endless struggles became more and it was to the detriment of the Ukrainians, who in the seventeenth century revived the rakhunok with the help of Daniil Abakshin. In two centuries, Petro Shoturma won the second half, and even before the break, Igor Korsun scored a double.

In the other half, the Ukrainians changed their minds and began to play behind the wheel, remembering what happened to the first sustria with the Poles, who became famous in the election campaign for their comebacks. The Poles were able to win two goals before the end of the other half thanks to the efforts of Pavel Kanievsky, and then the Ukrainians beat Rostislav Semenchenko with a goal.

Then there were intense tensions, where the “blue and yellow” had five fouls, versus three for the Poles. The Poles understood and pressed the Ukrainians on the goal and on the 37th century, with the field at the goal, they won one ball with the help of Jakub Razhkowski.

Thus, Ukraine beat Poland and, having scored 13 points, took first place in the group, earning a direct ticket to the 2024 Emergency. The Poles finished with 12 points and the playoffs are counting on them.
