The specialist did not find work at home, after which he went to an exotic country.

Ukrainian mentor Oleg Starinskiy began his career as a head coach in the exotic Cambodian championship for our latitudes, heading the local Phnom Penh Crown in October 2016.

During his first cadence, the then six-time champion of his country was unable to achieve success in any of the tournaments, as a result of which the mentor's contract was terminated on the last day of 2017.

After waiting a year and a half in his coaching practice, Starinskiy returned to Ukraine, where he became a video analyst in the Donetsk Shakhtar U19 team, where he worked until November 2020, after which he returned to Cambodia, already familiar to him, to the same club..

The second cadence of a Ukrainian specialist at Phnom Penh Crown has already been much more successful.

The club managed to chalk up the seventh championship title won in their country, gaining 44 points in 19 games played, while registering the difference between goals scored and conceded goals 54:18.

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian striker Valeriy Grishin, who is a graduate of the Shakhtar Academy, and came to the team at the invitation of his compatriot, is playing for Phnom Penh Crown..
