The deal for the transfer of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik to Roma was close to completion, but at a certain stage of the negotiations this transfer fell through. Reported by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

However, the 26-year-old has options to pursue a career in the English Premier League. The source claims that Tottenham is interested in signing Milik, however, in the past few hours, another contender for the footballer has emerged - Everton.

In the last days of the transfer window, Napoli may make concessions and agree to lease the Polish striker, but now the Azzurri would ideally like to renew the contract with Milik in order to sell him for a much larger amount.

Note that the current agreement between Milik and Napoli is calculated until the summer of 2021. Earlier it was reported that Fulham and Newcastle are ready to join the fight for the Polish striker, which the Neapolitans estimate at 25 million euros.
