Shakhtar's head coach Paulo Fonseca shared his impressions of the first 100 matches at the head of the "miners".
Paulo Fonseca in 2016, took the Miner after the departure of Mircea Lucescu and has since led the team at 100 games.
The hundredth match for Fonseca was the match of the 5th round of the ULP against Lviv, which the miners won 2-0.
After the game, Fonseca was asked to share vivid impressions from the period in Shakhtar.
"In the first year of my work we lost to the Carpathians 0-2, but managed to reverse the result - to win 3: 2. Then it was an important moment for me. But in general there was a lot of interesting.
Champions League, the final of the Cup, duels that brought us trophies, "- quotes Fonseca official website of the Miner.
"Thank God, for these 100 matches, for two years and three months I feel happiness and joy. I was well received in Shakhtar and Ukraine. People respect me, treat me well. As for any foreigner who comes to a new country with all the fears and emotions, it would be better not to be ".
It is worth noting that in Ukrainian football still not all refer to Fonseca respectfully.
