Ex-Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is not sure that he did the right thing by spending more than two decades at the club.

Arsene Wenger led the Arsenal 22 years. The Frenchman entered the history of the "Gunners", however in the last two seasons he failed to take a place in the top 4.

Throughout his career, Wenger could become Alex Ferguson's successor to Manchester United or head to Real Madrid.

"What was my biggest mistake? Perhaps it was that I stayed 22 years in a club," Wenger admitted in an interview with RTL.

"I'm someone who likes to move a lot, but at the same time, I like challenges. At times I was a hostage of my own challenge ".

The new coach of the Arsenal was Unai Emery. Under the Spaniard, the Gunners signed Stefan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Socratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Genduzi.
