Defender of the Spanish national team Gerard Pique felt discomfort in his left knee and left the team's training ahead of schedule.

After talking with the medical staff, the Football Federation of Spain announced that the defender, who in February suffered a minor operation on the same knee, there are no problems.

The 31-year-old Pique, who won the 2010 World Cup and European Championships 2012, will complete his international career after the forthcoming Mundial.

In the first match of the 2018 World Cup, Spain will play against Portugal on June 15.
