Gennaro Gattuso signed a new contract with Milan until 2021.

Milan officially announced the signing of a new contract with the coach of the first team of Gennaro Gattuso until 2021.

"Over the past few months, Gennaro Gattuso has done an amazing job, and I'm happy to let everyone know that he will continue to lead the team for at least three more years," said Milan director Marco Fassone.

"If it were not for my tendency to constantly think and weigh everything, we would have signed this agreement long ago".

"I am grateful to everyone for the honor given me," said Gennaro Gattuso. "I think that together we will succeed in bringing Milan to the highest level, which it deserves".

Under the terms of the new contract, Gattuso will receive 2 million euros per year.
