The last time United became champions even during the work of Alex Ferguson in the 2012-2013 season.

Since then, the "red devils" have spent over 600 million pounds on new players, but this has not helped the team to win a victory in the Premier League.

According to Jose Mourinho, the mankunians will continue to spend and plan to acquire new players by the beginning of the next season.

"Next season we will have new players.

We are going to do two or three transfers, "said Mourinho.

"I think this is normal. The team needs a balance, and our task is to reach it ".

"Michael Carrick is a great player, but this season he can not be a useful team. Therefore, one of the players will be purchased to replace him ".

"To strengthen the center of the field, we need two new players," said Mourinho.

Earlier it was reported that after the end of the season, United may leave midfielder Marwan Fellaini.
