Midfielder Manchester City Yaya Toure is not against returning to the national team of Cote d'Ivoire.

Yaya Toure's agent, Dmitry Selyuk, told L'Equipe that his client is going to return to the national team of Cote d'Ivoire.

Yaya Toure, who announced the completion of his international career in September 2016, decided to change his decision. According to Selyuk, the ex-captain of the national team wants to win more trophies with the national team.

Since the Ivorians did not make it to the final tournament of the 2018 World Cup, the nearest trophy they can win is the African Nations Cup in 2019 in Cameroon.
