Ex-midfielder and former acting coach of Manchester United Ryan Giggs did not receive proposals to lead Swansea.
By appointing acting head coach Leon Britton, Swansea continued the search for a permanent coach. Among the possible candidates are Tony Pulis, Ryan Giggs, Louis Van Gal, Slaven Bilic and Aitor Karanku.
The British media reported that Giggs had allegedly denied compatriots, but the Welshman himself in an interview with Sky Sports said that he had no contact with the leadership of the "swans".
The main favorite among the candidates now is Tony Pulis, and his appointment would be for the last-ranked Swansea very handy - never once the teams led by Pulis did not leave the English Premier League.
