Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer admitted that he plays with a metal plate in his right leg since 2008.

Manuel Neuer broke his leg in training Bayern and will play outside the game for several months.

According to the goalkeeper himself, he already received a similar injury while playing for Schalke and since then he plays with a metal plate in his right leg.

"I was getting the same injury for Schalke in 2008. Then I was put a metal plate in my foot, which is still there, "said Neuer.

"I've never had a problem with this, and I feel comfortable".

It is expected that the 31-year-old Neuer will return to the field not earlier than January 2018.
