Manchester United after a break for the national teams allowed the first misfire in the Premier League this season - the "red devils" could not beat Stoke City - 2: 2.

"I'm dissatisfied with one point scored, we were closer to winning. However, I accept this result, "- said Mourinho BT Sport.

"One team tried to win, and the second - to play in a draw. But Stoke fought for this score - he defended well, counter-attacked and acted well under the standards. Stoke is a powerful, physically strong team. And probably he deserved a draw ".

"The match was difficult for various reasons. My players after the break for the matches of the national teams were not the same as always. They did not play at their usual level. And yet, we fought and were closer to victory than to defeat the ".

"Draw is a draw. We did not come for her, but nobody's a draw ".

It is worth noting that Mourinho left the post-match press conference after the question of why he did not shake hands with the head coach of the "potters" Stoke City. Daily Mail, referring to its sources in the Manchester club, claims that the Welshman sent Jose in a certain direction during the match and that's why the Portuguese did not shake his hand after the game.

On Tuesday, United will play against Basel in the Champions League, and in the next round of the Premier League, the "Red Devils" will take home Everton.
