Striker Fiorentina Nicola Kalinich completed his transition to Milan on loan with a commitment to redemption.
At the presentation ceremony of the Croatian sports director of the Rossoneri Massimiliano Mirabelli said: "Well, everything, enough jokes. You have to send the ball into the net, otherwise we'll get you back ".
Fiorentina angrily reacted to such comments by Mirabelli, having published a statement on her official website, in which she criticized the director of Milan, calling him the words "dismissive and inappropriate".
"We would like to remind Mr. Mirabelli that Fiorentina is a serious club whose players have been making history for many years," says Fiorentina's statement.
"In addition, the club represents Florence, one of the most beautiful and famous cities in the world. Therefore, the club expects due respect for itself, both now and in the future ".
After this statement, Milan published an apology and explanation for Mirabelli.
"I have always very much respected and admired Fiorentina, their owners, coaches and fans," Mirabelli said..
"If someone saw in my words a lack of respect, I apologize".
"I think, in my tone, my expression and body language, it was obvious that what I said was only a joke and in no way an insult".
In the composition of Milan, the 29-year-old Croatian will compete for the seventh.
