The management of Tottenham asked Manchester United 50 million pounds for their midfielder Eric Dyer.

Dyer is one of the transfer goals manager of Manchester United Jose Mourinho.

Despite the fact that the 23-year-old Englishman can play in the center of defense, Mourinho sees in him a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick in the position of the central midfielder.

When Manchester United made a request for the availability of Dyer for the transfer, President Spurs Daniel Levy rated the midfielder at 50 million pounds.

Last season Dyer spent 48 matches for Tottenham in all tournaments, where he scored two goals and gave one assists.
