Chinese company Lander Sports Development, for a year negotiating the purchase of Southampton with Katarina Liebherr, in whose property the Saints have been staying since 2010, finally received permission from the English Premier League to acquire a club.
The nuclear submarine studied the situation for several months with accusations against the executive director of Lander Sports Development Gao Zhisheng.
However, it was not possible to find the confirmation of information about Zhisheng's bribery by Chinese politicians. Consequently, Katarina Liebherr will be able to sell its football property for 215 million euros.
However, as reported by The Times, the permission from the submarine does not at all guarantee the sale of Southampton. Lander intends to redeem all 100 percent of the shares immediately, and Liebherr is ready to completely give up his assets only when he is convinced that the promises of the Chinese about solid investments are not empty words.
