After two titles of the champion of Ukraine, won under the leadership of Sergei Rebrov, the season-2016/2017 Dinamo clearly did not ask. And after the Kyivites conceded to Shakhtar and the championship of the Premier League, and the national Cup, the Dynamo leadership decided that it was time to make drastic changes. And the first step was a change on the coaching bridge: Rebrov's place was taken by another iconic character in the history of the club - Alexander Khatskevich.

Arriving in Dynamo Kyiv from Dynamo Minsk, Khatskevich spent eight years in the Ukrainian capital, and during this time seven times became the champion of Ukraine and four times - the owner of the national Cup. In 2004, Alexander left Dynamo, and, after a short stay in China, Tianjin Ted and Latvian Venta returned to Minsk in 2005, where two years later he first tasted the work of the team coach, being a playing coach. In 2007, Hatskevich finished his playing career and entered the coaching courses.

Vitebsk became the first place for the independent coaching of the current coach of Dynamo, then, after a short work in the Ukrainian team at the headquarters of Myron Markevich, Khatskevich returned to Dinamo, where he worked with the youth team and the second team of the Kiev club. After the resignation of Yuri Semin served as head coach of Dynamo, but it lasted a few days.

A new stage in the career of Khatskevich began on December 4, 2014, when he headed the national team of Belarus, with whom he worked for exactly two years. In the qualifying tournaments of the championships of Europe and the world, the Belarusian team of special laurels did not win. In the active wards Alexander can be brought except that the victory over the national team of Slovakia - 1: 0 and a draw with the French - 0: 0. The biggest failure was the home draw with Luxembourg - 1: 1.

And now Khatskevich returned to Dynamo, taking the highest step in the coaching hierarchy - the place at the helm of the first team. What awaits him, and the team entrusted to him - to predict is not so easy. One of its main drawbacks is that Alexander can not boast of a wealth of coaching experience, but in fact, when appointing Sergei Rebrov, Dynamo President Igor Surkis took a similar risk. In this case, it is possible to recall and such a completely unburdened by experience young specialist, at one time headed the Barcelona - Josep Guardiola.

If you take into account the course on rejuvenation and Ukrainization, adopted in Dynamo, then to the advantages of Khatskevich's appointment, one can add his work in the structure of the club with the youth and reservists. True, for the two years spent in the national team of Belarus, the coach is a little "behind the life" in the club, but during the summer break he will have enough time to understand the situation. Another plus of the coach's change, and here the mentor's personality is no longer so important, is the natural strengthening of the motivation of the players who will try to earn the confidence of the new coach and prove to him their need for the team.

Remembering the character of Hackiewicz-football player, one can hope that he certainly will not go on about the whims of anybody and will be able to rally the team into a battle-worthy unit, but on one character and psychology, too, you will not go far. The actual question is: what strategic ideas does the new trainer have and how successfully will he be able to implement them. Supporters of the "Lobanovsky school" consider it a plus that Khatskevich managed to feel the hand of the Master, having played under the direction of Valery Vasilyevich, and probably absorbed some of his ideas.

On the other hand, voices calling for abandonment, finally, from the "evolutionary" path of development. The main argument for them is that the copy is always worse than the original, and the students of Lobanovsky, following his methods, do not possess the genius of the "primary source" ...
