Defender Sevilla Benois Tremulinas announced his retirement from the club.

The French defender said goodbye to Seville and wrote an open letter addressed to the players, staff and fans of the club.

"Friends and fans of Seville! It's time to announce about leaving the club. My third year in the team was hard because of a knee injury, but nothing can outshine the first two seasons and those wins in the European League. Here in Seville, I discovered an incredible city with a beautiful stadium and dedicated fans.

I want to thank the club, all its employees, and those who have always supported me in difficult times. Special thanks to medical personnel and trainers.
