The directors of Milan, Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli, at a meeting with the shareholders of the club spoke about the sad present and bright future of the Devils.
At the traditional meeting of shareholders of Milan, the general director of the club Marco Fassone and sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli told about the current financial situation of Rossoneri, the prospects for its improvement, plans to strengthen the composition and possible construction of a new stadium.
According to Fassone, Milan's losses in 2016 amounted to 71.9 million euros. At the same time he urged the audience not to be deluded - the next financial year the club will also finish in the red. The first profit from the management of new owners and their team, as reported by MilanNews, is expected not earlier than three years.
Massimiliano Mirabelli said that even before the start of the pre-season training Vincenzo Montella will have at his disposal two or three new wards, and before the transfer window is closed, several more acquisitions will be made. Specific surnames of football players the sportsman has preferred not to name.
As for the stadium, the fate of the home arena of the Devils is still under discussion. The decision that it is more expedient - to reconstruct San Siro and continue to divide it with Inter or build a new stadium for 55-60 thousand seats - has not yet been made.
Also one of the priorities of the management of Milan is the active promotion of the club's brand in the Far Eastern market. For this, among other things, Rossoneri will hold one (in case of winning a ticket to the Europa League) or two friendly matches in China.
