Manager Tottenham Mauricio Pochettino sure that in terms of history Spurs are on par with the two most titled clubs in England.

Tottenham twice became the champion of England, while Manchester United and Liverpool had 20 and 18 league titles, respectively.

"I would like to stay in Tottenham for as long as possible, because this is a club with a history, the most popular club in London, more popular than Arsenal and Chelsea," said Pochettino.

"Historically, Tottenham is on the same level as Manchester United and Liverpool".

Tottenham are continuing to fight for the Premier League title this season, behind Chelsea at 4 points for 6 rounds before the end of the season.
