The appeal committee of the Spanish Football Federation has upheld the three-legged suspension of the forward of Barcelona Neimar.
Nevertheless, the Catalans do not lose hope that Neimar will play in El Clasico, and go to the Spanish Arbitration Court of Sport (TAD), whose meeting will be held on Friday, April 21.
If TAD accepts Barcelona's appeal, they will need time to review it and make a decision, which means that Neimar will be able to take part in Sunday's match against Real Madrid.
Neimar was removed from the field in the match against Malaga on April 8, when he received two yellow cards, for which he was disqualified for one match. However, the Brazilian did not tolerate the decision of the referee and began to sarcastically applaud in the direction of the fourth referee, for which he received two more matches of disqualification.
