The Ukrainian team won three medals at the tournament and took third place in the Euro team competition.
The first Junior Euro biathlon gold in Ukraine in six years was won by Tatyana Tarasyuk and Taras Tarasyuk in single mixed, Tatyana Tarasyuk won silver in mass start-60, and bronze by Ksenia Prikhodko, Victoria Khvostenko, Ivan Steblina and Alexander Bilanenko was won in the mixed relay.
Thus, the Ukrainians repeated national records (for the largest number of medals and top positions in the awards standings) in the recent history of the Junior Euro.
Let us remind you that last season only the Ukrainian men's team won bronze in the relay at the World Cup in the Czech Republic of Nove Mesto. This medal was the first for Ukraine in three seasons of the tournament.. Ukraine remains without awards this season of the World Cup.
