At the World 2025 Championship in athletics, two Ukrainians Yaroslav Maguchy and Yulia Levchenko-successfully overcame qualifications in high jumps, taking the bar 1.92 m on the first attempt. For Levchenko, who is called the most beautiful athlete of Ukraine, this access to the final became special: the last time she succeeded back in 2019.

Julia will approach the decisive start after a two -meter jump in the final of the Diamond League, which was the first similar result for her for five years. In her Instagram, 23-year-old native of Bakhmut posted a video of her jump on the World Cup.

In a commentary for Suprikal Sport, the athlete admitted that she received real pleasure from the performance, even despite the unexpected change of weather - instead of the heat, rain began.

Levchenko noted the support of Japanese fans and added that sometimes it seemed to her that she needed a whole stadium of Ukrainians to shout out local fans.

She also talked about 10-day fees in Japan, which helped to quickly adapt to the climate and time difference. According to Julia, the most warm welcome and attention of local residents were most remembered - from flags of Ukraine to children's gifts made by his own.

The final of female jumps will be held on September 21 at 13:30 Kyiv time. The highest achievement of Levchenko at the world championships is 2017 Silver.
