Dnipro-1 defeated Rukh in the match of the 22nd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at the Avangard stadium in Uzhgorod ended with the score 3:2. In the 9th minute, Dnipro took the lead by Eduard Sarapiy. In the middle of the first half, Oleksandr Kucher's wards doubled their advantage - Artem Dovbik converted a penalty. However, before the break, the Lviv team managed to bounce back thanks to the goals of Talles and Yuriy Klimchuk.
In the second half, Dnipro-1 struggled to snatch victory and got it in stoppage time. Igor Kohut became the author of the decisive goal in the 90+3rd minute. Dnipro-1 (48 points) returned to second place in the UPL, beating Zorya (46), which played one game more. Having a game in hand, Dnipro are 5 points behind the championship leader Shakhtar. Rukh (19 points) is in 15th position, being in the relegation zone. In the next round, Dnipro-1 will meet with Ingulets on April 29, and Rukh will host Vorskla on the same day.
