Representatives of the Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestling team won two medals at the European Championship in Croatian Zagreb.
Silver in the weight category up to 82 kg was won by Yaroslav Filchakov, who made it to the final and lost to the reigning world champion Burhan Akbudak from Turkey.
Another Ukrainian Parviz Nasibov, who is the silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, won bronze in the weight up to 67 kg, defeating the Romanian Mihai Mihut.
The national team of Ukraine finished the European Championship in fourth place in the medal standings. Ukrainians have 11 medals - 3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze. In freestyle wrestling, men won 3 medals (1 gold, 2 bronze), and women won 6 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze).
