Ukrainian Oleksiy Sereda won a silver medal at the first stage of the Diving World Cup in Xi'an, China. 17-year-old native of Nikolaev took second place in the 10-meter platform. Sereda went to the final of the competition with the second result in qualification. Sereda performed the final jump with the best result in the final (97.20 points). Thus, in the end, Alexei scored 518.30 points.. The Ukrainian was only able to get ahead of the Chinese Hao Yang with a score of 574.40 points.. The top three winners were closed by the Japanese Rikuto Tamai - 433.80 points.
