In another match of group C, the Ukrainian national team lost to England with a score of 2:0.. North Macedonia missed the second round of qualification for the continental championship. After the second round, the leader of the quintet is England (6 points). Italy and North Macedonia have three points each, Ukraine and Malta have none so far.

In the matches of the 3rd round of qualifying for Euro 2024, the Ukrainian national team will play away with North Macedonia on June 16, England will meet with Malta away on the same day. The top two teams from each group will advance to the finals of the 2024 European Championship. The winners of three more trips to the continental championship will be determined in the playoffs, where 12 teams will go, depending on their performance in the 2022/23 Nations League. The draw for the final part of Euro 2024 will take place in December 2023, and the tournament itself will be hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
