The Ukrainian national team completed the performance at the first stage of the Artistic Swimming World Cup in history in third place in the medal standings.
Ukrainian women won four medals at competitions in Markham, Canada.
Marta Fedina won the technical solo - her gold medal was the first in the history of the tournament. Sisters Vladislava and Marina Alekseeva won two silver medals in the technical duets competition and in the free program.
Also, the Ukrainian team won gold in the acrobatic program.
The team was represented by the Alekseev sisters, Veronika Grishko, Sofia Matsievskaya, Daria Moshinskaya, Angelina Ovchinnikova, Anastasia Shmonina and Valeria Tishchenko.
Ukraine took third place in the medal standings of the tournament. The first was Japan (3 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze), and the second place was taken by Spain (2 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze).

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian Fedina was recognized as the best synchronized swimmer in Europe in 2022.
