Ukrainian hammer thrower Mikhail Kokhan triumphed at the European Cup in Leiria, Portugal. Our 22-year-old compatriot became the best in the competition among athletes under 23. Kohan won with a score of 75.80 meters. This is a world record for a season at youth level.. The second place was taken by the Pole David Pilat (72.42 meters). The top three was closed by Khalil Yilmazer from Turkey (70.45 meters). This victory was Kohan's third in his career at the European Cup at the youth level..
