The Brazilian Football Confederation is considering the Frenchman's candidacy after the dismissal of Tite, under whose leadership the Brazilians never won the World Cup.

It is not yet clear whether Zidane himself is interested in this work.. The Brazilian national team includes Vinicius Junior and Casemiro, with whom the Frenchman worked in Real Madrid..

Other candidates for the position include Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Rafael Benitez.

At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Brazilian team reached the quarter-finals, where they unexpectedly lost to Croatia (1:1, 2:4 on penalties).
