Turkey's national team in the 5th round of the League of Nations lost to Sweden with a score of 0: 1.

Wards Mircea Lucescu started the game faster and had several opportunities to distinguish themselves in the first half. A great chance to score missed Hakan Chalkhanoglu, who from 7 meters could not beat the Swedes goalkeeper Robin Olsen before the break.

In the second half of the meeting, the Scandinavians leveled the game and were able to snatch the desired victory - team captain Andreas Granquist realized a penalty on the 72nd minute of confrontation.

Having outplayed Turkey, the Swedes retained chances for an increase in the elite division of the League of Nations. The team now has 4 points and a victory in the final fight over Russia (November 20) will allow it to win the group and reach League A.

As for Turkey, it completed the group stage on the last line and flew to League C, gaining only 3 points..

Recall that with the Lucescu team, the Ukrainian team will hold its last match in 2018. Friendly meeting will be held in Antalya on Tuesday, November 20. The bout starts at 19:30.
