Pleasant news from Glasgow continues to please Ukrainians! Andrey Govorov became the European champion in swimming at a distance of 50 m butterfly.

Andrew overcame the distance for 22. 48 seconds and set a tournament record.

Earlier, Mikhail Romanchuk won the "gold" (400m freestyle) and "silver" (1500 m freestyle).

The combined European Championship is held in Glasgow and Berlin, and includes the continental championship in track and field athletics, water sports, gymnastics, cycling, rowing, triathlon and golf.

Ukraine now has 18 medals and occupies the 6th team place.
