The hockey player of the Slovenian national team, Zhiga Eglich, was caught in doping during the 2018 Winter Olympics, which takes place in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang.
The sportsman passed a positive doping test, which resulted in the discovery of fenogolic fenoterol. This was reported by the official website of the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) in Lausanne. The 29-year-old striker has already been suspended from the matches of his team at OI-2018.
It is noted that in the near future "Glitch" should leave the Olympic village, after which the CAS will issue a final verdict regarding the period of disqualification of the hockey player.
Let's remind, that in the group the national team of Slovenia has managed to win two victories and has suffered one defeat. On account of Eglich, who is a player of the Russian "Neftekhimik", three matches and one abandoned puck. Earlier, a Russian curling caught a dope.
