Jumping with a skipping rope is the best way to ease hunger and reduce caloric intake.. This is sure the Japanese scientists. It is known that aerobic loads reduce appetite, but with the help of volunteers, Japanese scientists have discovered that the best effect is given by jumping with a rope, writes LiveScience.
Scientists from the University of Waseda conducted an experiment with the participation of 15 young people. Subjects were asked to perform two types of exercises - jumping rope and riding a stationary bike. In their experiment, three groups of young men participated, who were asked not to eat anything 12 hours before the tests. The first group hopped through the rope (three sets of 10 minutes with a five-minute rest between sessions), the second - twisted the pedals on the stationary bike (in the same mode), the third - did nothing. After that, the testers took the blood for analysis.
It turned out that both types of physical activity affect the hormonal balance, in the first place, lower the amount of the hormone of hunger ghrelin in the blood, which stimulates the appetite. But those who jumped rope, ghrelin in the blood was less.
In the third group, the indices did not change - the volunteers still felt a strong sense of hunger.
According to experts, this effect is achieved by repeating the effects on the muscles and joints of impacts on the ground and reducing the release of "hunger hormones".
People tend to "seize" a stressful situation, and this habit leads to a set of extra pounds. That's why experts advise with a feeling of hunger instead of having a snack, do a little workout.
