Russian biathlonist Olga Zaitseva commented on the decision of the International Olympic Committee.

Recall that more recently, the IOC for life suspended the athlete for doping following the results of testing samples from the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. Zaitseva tried to find this logical explanation.

"I believe that this is politics, and in the political struggle, as a rule, any means are good. Probably, we are all now participants of some kind of game. Of course, it's bitter to tears that such cruel and ruthless justice of the IOC. Despite the credibility and merits of people, we were trampled into the mud, "said Zaitseva.

It should be noted that Zaitseva in Sochi together with Olga Vilukhina, Ekaterina Shumilova and Yana Romanova won silver in the relay race. In January 2015, Zaytseva announced the end of her career. She is a two-time Olympic champion, on her account "gold" of Turin-2006 and Vancouver-2010 in relay races, in addition, the athlete won three gold medals of the world championships - two "silver" and three "bronzes".

It should be noted that the IOC already took 11 medals from Russia because of doping. In the end, it cost them the first place in the unofficial medal stand OI-2014.
